Well...the hull has now been removed from the mould...released nicely, revealing a very well finished 'off white' high performance product. The hull is derived from a well tested racing design that was originally commissioned for royalty in Dubai. It was designed to accommodate 4 x V8 outboards capable of pushing it beyond 100mph. Needless to say, this hull is an extremely efficient design. Volvo engineers have predicted a top speed of close to 40 knots utilising the power of their 350hp D deck engines.
To say we are all excited is an understatement...the fuel efficiency at cruise power will be nothing short of sensational.
Completion is expected around January 2007.
