Escapa 42 Flybridge Constructed

The Escapa 42's massive flybridge/sundeck has now been constructed utilising our innovative infusion moulding process.
Approximately 40 resin tubes were connected to the mould that enabled the resin to be drawn into the mat and core products at a controlled rate. This has culminated in a flybridge that, whilst is approx 8metres by 4.5 metres in size, will weigh only 400-450 kg. A weight saving of almost 1/3rd of a typical chop strand layup.
All these weight gains assist in performace and efficiency, particularly in regards fuel usage.
The resin injection process took about 1 hr to complete with no 'dry' areas in the laminate whatsoever. A fantastic result!!!
