Flybridge is on
24 March 2007
The cranes were brought in again, the flybridge lifted onto the main cabin section and the fit was perfect!! Once the swim platform, which measures 900mm deep, is fitted to the stern, the proportions of the boat will be identical to our 3D images on the main page. In addition to this, and still to be fitted, are the side profiles on the flybridge as well as the targa and hardtop.
With the flybridge now in place, the weatherproof undercover area in the cockpit feels enormous and excellently compliments the saloon area with its 2.4m triple stacker door opening. Headroom is an amazing 2.15m in the cabins.
Our marketing agents at Sun Marine are amazed at the space that is available in a boat which is 42’ long. “The master stateroom is similar in size to that of a 60’ or even larger boat” says Jim Winchester of Sun Marine. He goes on to say “The whole boat feels much much larger than any 42’ footer that I’m aware of. The flybridge area is similar to a large beachfront unit balcony. Just incredible”
This boat has been 2 years in the development with consultation from a group of local and Sydney based boat owners in addition to our own team of designers, and the interior layout has been designed in conjunction with Tom Jorgensen of Jorgensens Pty Ltd( www.jorgensens.com.au ) a leading designer/builder of new homes, units and commercial structures here in Queensland.
