Newcastle presented a major set-back for XXX Marine on race weekend putting a large hole into the front of the boat, after Global Racing misjudged the course on the first round. The XXX Marine cat clipped the middle engine of Global Racing who had apparently altered course amidst confusion in navigation. The incident left XXXMarine to limp back to the trailer while Global Racing burned to the waterline. The full story and spectacular images are available at Connexion PR.
